The Boiler Upgrade Scheme, explained
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a UK government grant — not a loan — that reduces the cost of swapping a fossil-fuel boiler for a heat pump. It's administered by Ofgem on behalf of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, and it's open to homeowners across England and Wales.
